Paula Duarte is an internationally acclaimed Argentine tango performer, teacher, and choreographer with more than twenty years of professional experience. After completing a university degree in dance, she went on to build a distinguished international career, teaching and performing at festivals worldwide and appearing as the leading lady in major tango productions. Now based in London, Paula is one of the UK’s most experienced independent female Argentine tango teachers.

Over the past fifteen years, she has taught at many of London’s leading tango clubs and regularly performs at prestigious national and international festivals. Paula Duarte is widely recognised for her refined technique, elegance, and expressive presence on the dance floor. Her teaching style is known for its strong structure, technical depth, and clarity. Paula focuses on the detailed mechanics of tango movement, offering precise analysis that enables students to understand and master the subtleties of the dance. Her classes are valued for their thoughtful organisation and accessible delivery, making even complex ideas clear and engaging. This approach has established her as one of the most respected and sought-after tango teachers in London.In addition to her regular appearances at festivals and events, Paula teaches in-person workshops across London, offers online training, and collaborates with a range of national and international artists.
