This workshop invites you to explore the Gancho as a conversation between partners. It’s an energetic exchange that happens in a precise moment of shared intention. It's not just a shape, but a feeling.

We’ll break down the mechanics to give you confidence, then go deeper into the artistry behind this iconic tango element.
What you’ll explore:

• Clear technique and body awareness for both leaders and followers
• Ganchos that are responsive, musical, and organic—not forced
• Different types of ganchos and how to lead/follow them with ease
• Timing, precision, and safety in close and open embrace
• Expressiveness and play within the structure
